At Tellus, we believe our community investments are much more meaningful when we work with community partners whose values and program objectives are aligned with ours, areas such as:
- caring for the environment
- education, literacy and work readiness, with a particular emphasis on opportunities for youth and indigenous people
- community groups that contribute to community health and wellbeing such as sports and the arts
- support for local business and industry groups (e.g., awards and industry events)
- community development initiatives (not covered by Tellus’ proposed indigenous land use agreement)
One way Tellus makes a positive contribution in the communities that we operate in is through our Community Investment program, which supports local projects, groups and initiatives.Small grants are available to eligible applicants to support community projects in the following areas:
- Western Australia, Goldfields, Southern Cross, Coolgradie, Kalgoorlie area
- Northern Territory, Central Australia, Titjikala and Alice Springs area
