Apprenticeships and traineeships
Tellus is committed to apprenticeship opportunities in our operating locations. Apprenticeships trainee employment and work experience programs will be advertised internally and in newspapers and with relevant organisations each year.
Trainee employment
Tellus will offer a traineeship programme for processing and mobile plant operators. These traineeships will be offered over a one-year term. We would strongly encourage applications from indigenous members of our local communities.
Work experience programme
We will support secondary school students interested in careers in the resources and environmental industry with a two-week school work experience programme and school-based trainees who spend two days a week in the workplace as part of an ongoing programme. Interested students located in communities near to Tellus’s operations will be encouraged to approach their school about the program.
Indigenous employment
Tellus wants local communities to share in the benefits that come from our operations. Providing local jobs is the best way we can ensure a legacy beyond mining. |
