Salt is certified to the ISO 9002 international standard for quality assurance. Australian and Mexican solar salt (the main sources of salt on export markets), set the industry standard for internationally traded salt. Tellus will maintain high quality and meet relevant safety standards for all our products.
 Tellus will adhere to all Australian and International quality standards. Tellus plans to have its salts independently certified by third party accreditation organisations as well as our own internal QA/QC staff.
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) will ensure that all products are made consistently to a superior quality standard. All Tellus salt manufacturing sites will be certified to the ISO9001 quality management system and food salt manufacturing sites will be certified to the HACCP standard. HACCP is a risk assessment based approach to food safety and quality which focuses on identifying and preventing problems before they occur rather than rectifying a problem after it has happened.
 The quality of our proposed products and services, product safety as well as consumer protection (from GMP, IFS, BRC, GMP+, QS and EU regulations and national legislations), especially in case of pharmaceutical salt and food and animal food products, are of utmost importance to us. |
