Stakeholder Engagement

Tellus has been discussing the broader Sandy Ridge Project with an increasing circle of stakeholders since 2014. Consultation with communities and key stakeholders in Kalgoorlie, Coolgradie, Southern Cross and Perth ramped up in 2015. Throughout the evolution of the Project and during the ESD and PER preparation, Tellus has undertaken extensive community engagement.

Tellus' objective is to maintain transparency about the Project and operate on a “no surprises” basis. The overall objective of each community and stakeholder engagement session is to identify and record issues and/or concerns and how those issues raised will influence the design and delivery of the Sandy Ridge Project.

During preparation of the ESD / PER, Tellus has held a number of key government and community meetings and presentations. On each occasion, Tellus updated the participants with respect to the Proposal's description and results of engineering and environmental studies.

The PER is available to be viewed at the following locations:
  • State Library of Western Australia, Perth Cultural Centre, 25 Francis Street, Perth WA 6000.
  • City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Public Library, Roberts Street, Kalgoorlie WA 6430.
  • Coolgardie Recreation Centre Library, 69 Sylvester Street, Coolgardie WA 6429.
  • Southern Cross Public Library, CRC, Canopus Street, Southern Cross WA 6426.
  • Kambalda Public Library, Barnes Drive, Kambalda West WA 6442.
Most parties have requested to be kept informed as the Project progresses through its capital investment plan which includes a number of GO / NO-GO gates. Consultation is currently progressing and involves consultation with the non-government organisations, local politicians and other broader interested parties.

Tellus maintains a stakeholder register and will continue to liaise with the community throughout the life of the Project. Tellus will also place key community and regulatory related information on the Company's website (http://www.tellusholdings.com/) and by sharing News Updates to interested stakeholders.
