| Over the past 18 months Tellus has evaluated six geological basins in Australia with known salt formations and selected the Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory as the location for its first project. |

Tellus is planning to develop Australia's first underground salt mine. Located in Central Australia, we believe we have one of Australia's largest rock salt formations. This project has the potential to be Australia's longest operational mine, bringing significant investment, employment and environmental benefits to Central Australia for generations.
The project will comprise salt mining, processing, packaging and shipping for a range of end users.
There are a number of potential complementary salt related businesses:
- Gourmet salt / bush food blends
- Storage - space created by mining
- Storage - warehouse
- Renewable energy – combined “solar salt battery” power station
- Salt mine tourism
Millions of dollars have been spent on exploration, seismic testing and core well drilling to gain an understanding of the Company's salt formations. The results of this exploration have confirmed that the Company has high quality salt at a suitable depth for economic mining and complimentary businesses. In 2012, Tellus will complete confirmatory seismic and drilling to finalise the specific mine site and surface facility location.
Tellus believes there is also the potential for the mine to be a catalyst for a range of local salt-related businesses such as gourmet salt/bush food blends, rock salt health products, salt art, tourism and curious that could be produced in Central Australia.
