For Tellus' corporate governance means being a responsible corporate citizen.

For Tellus' corporate governance means being a responsible corporate citizen.

The main focus of the Tellus Board is the long term health and prosperity of the Group for the benefit of shareholders.

The Board places great importance on the governance of the Group and reflecting this commitment, the Board continually reviews its governance practices to ensure these practices promote shareholder value, evaluate the Group’s material risks, address Tellus' obligations as a responsible corporate citizen and has a formal gate system (GO / NO GO) as part of its capital investments procedures.

Tellus supports the AICD definition of corporate governance which is a broad-ranging term which, amongst other things, encompasses the rules, relationships, policies, systems and processes whereby authority within organisations is exercised and maintained.

Tellus' governance attributes are shaped by both "internal" factors like the constitution and organisational policies and "external” factors like Federal and State laws, regulations and community expectations.

Tellus' board plays a pivotal role in influencing the company’s governance environment.

Tellus has an effective governance framework in place that reflects the stage of the business and grows as the business grows.

Tellus is a public unlisted company, and our governance framework is driven through the ASX Principles of Good Governance and Best Practice Recommendations which are actively monitored and used in the direction of our governance decisions.

This helps to drive enhanced organisational performance while protecting the interests of our investors, the community and our team.
